Cranial Monitoring

Introduction
Monitoring for cranial surgeries is well established. Multiple types of
surgeries benefit through monitoring for focal ischemia, mechanical
effect and functional status of both the brain structures and cranial
nerves. Mapping of functional locations in the cortex augments and
improves upon imaging alone, especially where imaging can not
identify discrete areas due to mass effect or compression by tumors or
other abnormalities.
